This course provided attendees the opportunity to learn about collaborative assessments completed by dieticians and speech language pathologists. Attendees learned how this collaboration can lead to effective clinical feeding and nutritional needs being met in the pediatric population.
Interview of the combined staff among UW-Madison speech language pathologists and identified a need for education in understanding collaboration of professionals to assess and treat pediatric feeding and nutritional needs.
Describe the rationale for collaborative clinical assessments by the registered dietician and speech language pathologist.
