This course provided resources available to assess and treat children with cleft palate from different linguistic backgrounds and how cleft speech and resonance differences might be impacted by difference languages

Objectives

Learning Outcomes:

1. Describe different resources available to assess and treat children with cleft palate from a variety of linguistic backgrounds.
2. Identify cleft speech characteristics that could be influenced by the phonetics system of a language.
3. Identify resonance differences that may influence the results of an evaluation of velopharyngeal dysfunction.

Method of Participation

The estimated time to complete this online activity and exam is 1 hour(s). To receive credit, a passing grade of 100% is required on a short online quiz. You will have opportunities to retake the quiz to achieve a passing score. After you have completed your exam and evaluation you will be able to automatically print your credit letter.
