Needs Assessment:
Interview of the combined staff at the UW-Madison Voice and Swallowing Clinic in Madison, Wisconsin, and identified a need for education in the area of assessment and treatment of voice and upper airway disorders in the current climate involving a pandemic.
1. Participants will be able to define COVID-19 and the nature of it’s transmission in general and through aerosol generating procedures
2. Participants will understand the necessity of changing practice patterns including the use of telehealth, personal protective equipment, modified staffing and equipment as well as distancing considerations.
3. Participants will distinguish the necessary differences in adult and pediatric otolaryngology clinical practice patterns amidst a pandemic.
The estimated time to complete this online activity and exam is 1 hour(s). To receive credit, a passing grade of 100% is required on a short online quiz. You will have opportunities to retake the quiz to achieve a passing score. After you have completed your exam and evaluation you will be able to automatically print your credit letter.
